Health Reform

The Healthiest State Campaign has adopted a National Health Reform Position to guide its actions and recommendations with respect to federal health reform efforts.  You can read the Health Reform Policy Map here:  http://www.whf.org/Policy/

Healthiest State Priorities

Our three priorities were developed out of years of polling, focus groups and the 2003 Community Roundtables held in each of Washington’s 39 counties.  These priorities are based on values held by the people of Washington.  They are:

  1. Prevention
  2.

  3. Universal Participation
  4.

  5. Redesign
  6.

Join our efforts to reform the health system.  This opportunity only arises every couple of decades and the time for meaningful reform is now.
